Royal visitor for Scottish Fiddle Orchestra’s concert
The Princess Royal became Patron in 1993, and has seen the orchestra rise to become Scotland’s “National” fiddle orchestra, playing to enthusiastic fans all over the UK and beyond.
September sees their return to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for another evening of magic, when they play slow airs, haunting tone poems and fast and furious reels with a skill and passion that has become the benchmark for traditional Scottish music.
