Orchardhill Fusion
Orchardhill Fusion is an informal, fun gathering where teenagers can share fun, ideas, thoughts and generally enjoy some time out on a Sunday evening. There’s no set agenda – crazy games, quizzes, activities – and of course iced biscuits are regular features but it’s mainly about sharing time with each other. You don’t have to come along every time – we’d love to see you whenever you can make it. The gathering takes place from 7pm - 8.30pm at Orchardhill Parish Church, Giffnock.

Night at the Pictures
The National Library of Scotland brings its touring display ‘Going to the Pictures’ to Giffnock Library. This display tells the story of Scotland’s memories of cinema through the printed and moving image collections of the National Library of Scotland. To celebrate, the library is running a screening of local filmmaker Tom Marchant’s Night at the Pictures: the story of cinema in Scotland. This entertaining film charts the development of Scottish cinema and is full of nostalgic moments which will bring memories of ‘the pictures’ flooding back. After the movie, you can stay to explore the exhibition and examine the objects in the ‘Projectionist’s Case’
