Lanark-based Revo win big at What-Hi-Fi Awards
Established in 2004, Revo made it three wins in four years at the What Hi-Fi Awards, the Oscars of the audio-visual industry earlier this month.
The company’s SuperConnect model, which has over 16,000 radio stations from around the world and online streaming service Spotify, picked up the accolade for Best Radio over £200 – much to the delight of CEO David Baxter.

Hide AdDavid, who lives in Lanark, said: “For a group of people who don’t know us to decide that the work we have done merits such an award is the best feeling you can get.
“What Hi-Fi is recognised around the world and it really helps us market the product. Already there have been distributors from Thailand, South Africa and Latin America interested.
“Superconnect is the first radio in the world to launch with Spotify and teaming up with them is one of the best things we have done.”
From humble beginnings a decade ago, Revo has grown steadily with the small team designing everything from its base in Caldwellside Industrial Estate before the radios are manufactured in the Far East.
