All for fun and fun for all at Woodhill family event
The annual event – which was blessed with great weather – is a firm favourite with people from the local community and beyond.
Donald Macdonald, chairman of Woodhill Residents’ Group, said: “The turn-out was great. We had to extend the event to clear the queues that had developed around the bouncy castles and mobile climbing wall.

Tribute has been paid to Mr Rafique at Four Square Newsagents who sponsored the event, East Dunbartonshire Council’s Grants Award Committee who provided support funding and senior pupils at Bishopbriggs Academy who went along to help run the stalls and attractions.
The fun day is the organisation’s main fundraising event of the year and generous raffle donations were received from A-star Sports, Sporty Kids, Domino’s Pizzas, Maureen Johnstone Massage and Woodhill Pharmacy.
Thanks have been given to members of the residents’ group and their families who worked tirelessly on the day.

The funds raised mean the group will be able to run “lots of exciting events” over the next 12 months.
The fun day was held on Sunday, September 22, in Etive Park, Bishopbriggs.
