Carluke family hit out at local taxi firm
Because, they claimed, it was thanks to the firm that their holiday nearly started with disaster.
Unemployed Russell Paterson (41), of Dunard Court, Carluke, said: “I had arranged for Go Taxis to pick us up at 3.45am and paid £80 in advance.

“But we didn’t get any phone call and just waited and waited until it got to 5.10am.
“My future mother-in-law, who has to take six to eight tablets a day for heart problems, was up to high doh.”
The family’s nightmare experience began on the morning of Thursday, September 13.
