Police continue hunt for missing Bishopbriggs man
The last known sighting of Mr Patterson was at 1pm on Monday, when he was walking on Balmuildy Road at Hilton Gardens, in Bishopbriggs.
He is described as white, 5ft 8in in height and of slim build with thinning white hair and a ruddy complexion.
A new picture of him has now been released by the police.

Hide AdWhen he was last seen he was wearing a brown fleece and grey trousers. He may be wearing a flat cap and sometimes smokes a pipe.
His family and police are extremely concerned for his wellbeing as he suffers from the early stages of dementia and may appear confused.
He doesn’t normally leave the house on his own, and hasn’t been missing for this length of time.
Local officers are being assisted by specialist search advisors in their ongoing efforts to trace Mr Patterson. Resources such as the force helicopter and the dog unit have also been undertaking searches.

Hide AdIn the past, Mr Patterson has been known to frequent Bishopbriggs Town Centre, his local library and the Morrisons store, as well as Oregano, Springfield Cambridge Church and Strathkelvin Industrial Park. He also likes to visit Dobbies in Milngavie.
