Are Clydesdale groups being robbed of coalmine cash?
The allegation comes from the leader of a community group who revealed that his organisation had made a formal complaint about the trust which made these decisions before it was wound up last month.
The ire of Mr Graham Day, of Hawksland-based Mossmyne Community Association, centres on the South Lanarkshire Rural Communities Trust.

Hide AdAfter Scottish Coal went bust, the Trust decided to dissolve – and South Lanarkshire Council decided that it would instead take over its function.
Mr Day claimed this amounted to hijacking of local involvement in distributing the coal cash.
However, the council’s head of planning, Michael McGlynn, told the Gazette: “The council is aware of Mr Day’s comments and is considering an appropriate response to the unfounded accusations that he makes.”
