Carluke Rovers receive top award from the SFA
So Carluke Rovers bosses’ successful bid to land a Scottish Football Association Quality Mark Award for their club looks to be a shrewd marketing move.
“I was a driving force behind us going for this award,” said Rovers chairman Malky Black.

Hide Ad“The Scottish Junior Football Association was keen for clubs to get the Quality Mark because it demonstrates to people that the club is being run right and to a minimum set standard.
“This certificate should help when it comes to attracting people to the club or investing in Carluke Rovers.”
Carluke Rovers was one of 20 clubs which received a Quality Mark accolade at Hampden recently.
The official certificate was presented to Malky, club manager Colin Slater and committee man Tom Dickson by the SFA’s John Brown and Queen of the South manager Allan Johnston.
