Cumbernauld United and Kilsyth Rangers kick off new era as senior clubs
But the Covid-19 crisis has left a different scenario to the one envisaged when the clubs quit the junior ranks a few months ago.
The withdrawal of five Premier Division sides taking up the option if missing a season without losing their league status has meant league bosses have scrapped relegation.

Hide AdAnd while United can't drop down to the Conferences below the Premier, it also means Kilsyth can't come up.
United chairman George Watson admitted: "It's not ideal but at the end of the day if it gets us back playing football I'd rather be doing something like this rather than taking time out.
"I'm delighted to be back but just disappointed that our first two league games are away from home.
Cumbernauld will again share their Guy's Meadow ground with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, but will start with two away games at Benburb and Troon. Their first home game, ironically against Rob Roy, isn't until November 7.
