The owner says dwindling sales means the bar and restaurant will close on 30 June.

TGI Fridays owner, Hostmore, has confirmed the closure of its spin-off cocktail bar and restaurant brand, three years after its launch.

The remaining 63rd+1st bar in Glasgow will close its doors at the end of the month. This follows the closure of three other venues in Cobham, Harrogate and Edinburgh. The brand will now be discarded after failing to generate sufficient profits.

The brand was launched in 2021 and took inspiration from the origin story of TGI Fridays with a New York-influenced food and cocktails menu.

Hostmore, which has 85 TGI Fridays restaurants across the UK, revealed that sales over the year to mid-May were a tenth lower than the same period last year. Earlier this year, it agreed a £177 million deal to merge with US-based TGI Fridays Inc, to create a larger firm which will remain listed in London.
