Gigs in Glasgow: Paul Heaton announces huge Glasgow December show with very special guests

The former Housemartins frontman will make his return to Glasgow at the beginning of December

Paul Heaton will be returning to Glasgow later this year for a huge gig at the OVO Hydro where he will be joined by some very special guests.

He will take to the stage on Sunday 1 December and will be joined by special guest singer Rianne Downey and The Zutons.

Fans can expect Heaton to play songs from throughout his career in music including classic tracks from The Beautiful South and The Housemartins.

The tour will begin at the end of November in Bridlington Spa before heading to Leeds and then Glasgow with other shows booked for Brighton, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle and London.

It will not be the first time that Heaton appears on stage with Rianne Downey in Glasgow as the Bellshill singer performed on stage with him at TRNSMT festival last year.

During that time in Glasgow, Heaton left his mark on the city as he left cash behind the bar at a few nearby pubs which included 226 Gallowgate, The Old Burnt Barns, Lynch’s Bar, The Braemar Bar, The Tolbooth and Whistler on the Green.
